About Paul
Pauls experience and very diverse style of play has made him a sought
after player in the Nashville music community. Paul works with a wide
range of artists for live and recorded sessions with great time and
rhythm. He constantly trains and hones his skills with some of the best
in the world. Here is a quick summary about Paul:
Experience:
- Has studied virtually all styles of music and played professionally
in clubs in New York and in resorts in the Catskills backing numerous
artists. Typical artist prep in the Catskills was - "Here's my show.
Find your part. I'll count off and let's go."
- Played in theater productions - Chicago, Pippin, Jesus Christ Superstar,
Godspell, to name a few.
- Played the Flevo Christian Music Festival (Holland) with recording
artist Rick Altizer
- Played and/or recorded with Brian Gentry and Ken Marvin (Marvin and Gentry) and Peace (featuring the late Dan Peek of America), Victoria Venier, RM31, Rick Altizer, Kent Blazy, Gary Talley (The Box Tops), Rick Durrett (Crystal Gayle, Willie Nelson…) to name a few.
- Session work with musicians from Doug Stone, The Oak Ridge boys,
John Denver, The Gants, Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, Jewel, Lionel Richie,
Tim McGraw, King Crimson, etc.
- Regular member and player of Calvary Chapel Rivergate for over twenty years.
